PLENARY MEETING OF THE SECOND SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WAS HELD ON FRIDAY, 21 MARCH
At the beginning of the morning meeting, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, announced Deputies´ interpellations.
Then the recess was announced. After the recess Inna Bohoslovska, the People´s Deputy of Ukraine, disclosed the declaration of The Party of Regions Faction concerning immediate withdrawal of Ukrainian personnel of the UNO peacemaking mission from Kosovo.
The Party of Regions demanded that The Verkhovna Rada passed a Resolution on Withdrawal of Ukrainian Peacemaking Contingent from Kosovo.
A.Yatseniuk proposed that the People´s Deputies delegated him the authority to raise this issue at the meeting of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine. Further resolutions should be adopted only afterwards.
During the recess the People´s Deputies representing The Party of Regions Faction blocked the lectern.
Anatoliy Hrytsenko, the People´s Deputy of Ukraine, announced the declaration concerning Ukrainian subdivisions and their leaders in Kosovo, the necessity to provide the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine with a possibility to adopt a reasonable decision concerning participation of Ukrainian pacificators in actions in Kosovo.
Summing up, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that the said issue will be discussed at the meeting of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine held at 12 a.m.
Then the plenary meeting was closed.
